NFLʻs best come to Hawai‘i

On Jan. 26, the NFL held the Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium and added a little change this year in the way the teams fared. Instead of the traditional AFC vs. NFC, this year the Pro Bowl was more of a, “fantasy football,” style event where players from the remaining 30 teams were selected by Hall of Fame players Jerry Rice and Deon Sanders. So the format for this year’s game was Team Rice vs. Team Sanders. The Pro Bowl this year included famous players from the NFL like Philip Rivers, Tony Gonzalez, Eric Weddle, Matt Forte and Drew Brees. The game was close and came down to the wire but Team Rice took the lead with 22 seconds to go. Team Rice won by just a point over Team Sanders at 22-21.
