Another addiction to add on to your list

I’m sure you game savvy people out there have heard of Minecraft. Created by Markus Persson as known as “Notch,” first created this game by himself only using javascript but now has a company behind him called Mojang that helps him with his development process.

Minecraft basically has two modes, Survival and Creative. Survival is pretty self explanatory, build a shelter before nightfall, gather food, gather resources and most important of all, STAY ALIVE. When you do get killed, all your items in your inventory that your carrying around with your character will drop and half of your experience points are lost. So do your best and stay alive!

In creative mode, you can pretty much do anything with everything at your disposal. You can test out how to build your house, how to build certain “machinery,” and spawn any creature without them hurting or killing you.

Don’t fret for those who want to play with their friends, you can make your own multiplayer server! You could make it either private (between you and your friends) or public which is shared with everyone who knows the server’s IP address.

I’ve jumped on this band wagon back in 2010 and grew bored of it since Minecraft was still in development. Now, I’m playing it again and just getting better and better with every update. It can get really addicting and will never let you see the light of day, so be sure that you will still pay attention to your obligations.

I don’t regret buying this game and it’s fairly cheap for a good quality game like this. You can purchase this game at . Remember to remain responsible after playing this game because it will suck you in.
