Halloween is coming up! I do not know about you, but I am so excited! I heard last year’s Halloween dance was so fun! I talked to Raymart Cortez who is a Peer Mentor but also a chairperson for Board of Student Activities (BOSA). Ray described last years Halloween dance as, “successful, fun and exciting.”
According to Ray, “students wanted more school dances after this dance and we are expecting 100-200 students to show up this year.”
Last year there was a crayon theme and this years theme is MINIONS! BOSA and the Peer Mentors paired up to dress up as Minions from “Despicable Me”. So, if you see a Minion at the dance, it is probably someone from BOSA or a Peer Mentor!
Since I never attended last years Halloween dance, I wanted to ask Ray what we should be expecting at this years dance. “Should expect, a costume contest like last year, the same DJ but with an updated, fun playlist, pupu’s, so not full meals, but snacks and about 100-200 KCC students!”
Thank you Ray for answering some of my questions and wow I am so excited for this years Halloween dance! I hope to see all of you there, I’ll be one of the minion’s for sure!
The dance will not be on Halloween night, it will be on the night before, the 30th.
