Donate your clothes

*CLOTHING DRIVE*

Beginning today, the Service-Learning Office at Kapi’olani Community College, in partnership with AmeriCorps, will be running a Clothing Drive for Family Programs Hawai’i.

Family Programs Hawai’i is a non-profit organization which has been helping our communities’ children from entering foster care, supporting children and families involved in the foster care system, and assisting youth in transitioning out of this system (familyprogramshawaii.org). This organization has been doing invaluable work to help Hawai’i’s keiki and youth, and to help them in their invaluable mission, we will be collecting clothes to give to the young girls and boys that receive assistance through them.

Please Kokua! Help us in this project – Jean shorts, basketball shorts, and shirts of all sizes are always in need. We are asking that the quality of the clothes are new or like new, please.

The Clothing Drive begins today and will be happening through Thursday April 19th. You may drop off your donations at the Service-Learnng Office in ‘Iliahi RM 129 (next to Subway).

Thank you ahead for reading this e-mail and for helping in this cause. If you have further questions/comments, please stop by our office or give us a call. 734-9353 or kccserve@hawaii.edu
