To keep KapCC’s Nursing Department an accredited institution, they need to be periodically evaluated. This evaluation is to ensure that the programs and colleges are maintaining the quality standards expected of a one associated with this title.
On October 15-17, the Nursing Department at KapCC will be hosting an accreditation
team from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). During this time, the KapCC Associate in Science Degree in Nursing Program (ADN Program) will be going through a continuing accreditation review process.
As part of this accreditation review, the public is invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Kopiko building, Room 128. The meeting is held in order to provide input and comments on the KapCC ADN Program from any interested parties. At this time students, prospective students, and those curious and non affiliated with the college are invited to listen in and discuss the current ADN Program.
Written comments will also be accepted and shared. If you would like to submit a written comment about the ADN Program, please do so before Oct. 17.
