Hey everyone, I hope these few weeks of the new semester are going great! I’m going to do something a little different this week, I have Peer Mentor Chad Rose here to introduce himself and just tell you guys about him.

Hi I’m Chad,
I currently am a student at Kapi’olani Community College. My major is Information Technology and I am currently happily employed with the Student Success Peer Mentors for the Office of Student Activities. You can find me, and in the near future Kopiko’s BLT (Business, Legal and Technology Department). As Peer Mentors, we do New Student Orientations, help out in different departments around campus and also act as a roaming Information Desk/Tour Guide.
Aside from school, I do have hobbies and extracurricular activities that I am a part of. I serve as a deacon at my church, involved in technological teams in the same capacity, biking is my passion and that is put on hold for a short time while I’m in school. I have a YouTube channel called “Chadsshow” (www.youtube.com/chadsshow). With the activities I am a part of, I enjoy doing tutorials when time is available. Ustream is my Live Events Channel where I post on an event-by-event basis. You can search for “Chadsshow” in the search bar. I am volunteering to learn a new field in the industry called Surround Me, a type of Business Social media connection.
If you don’t see me active in any of these areas, I am in a secluded spot on the beach of Ko’olina where I can just relax and meditate.
