Singer Whitney Houston died at age 48 in her hotel room Feb. 11., the eve of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. She was staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, when police responded to an emergency call Saturday, reported FoxNews.com.
The autopsy was recently completed, but it was reported that he results could take six to eight weeks for toxicology and other tests, according to the CNN International website.
Houston was an Academy Award-winning actress as well as a six-time Grammy Award-winning singer. Houston wowed her audiences since the middle 1980’s to late 1990’s according to FoxNews.com. It was also reported that the paramedics on scene spent about 20 minutes trying to revive her.
Houston, who has released more that eight albums since 1985, Houston has also been in several movies such as “Waiting to Exhale” and “The Bodyguard.”
The news swept across the nation and reached Hawai’i’s local radio stations. Yesterday as the news of Houston’s death was reported on Power 104.3, the radio station played a tribute song of her well-known, “I Will Always Love You.”
