Often times during finals week, the malls get crowded, all the outlets at Starbucks are being used, and it can be a hassle to find parking.
To help get you through this next finals session, the Office of Student Activities and the Board of Student Activities bring you Study With a Buddy.
Study With a Buddy starts Sunday, May 5 to 7 from 6 p.m. – midnight, with full use of the Ho’okele Center. Students can even use the conference rooms if need be, Alfie Gonzales, assistant coordinator of OSA and BOSA advisor, said.
This provides students with an alternative place to study when places like Kahala Mall get crowded or noisy, Gonzales added.
Don’t forget, OSA and BOSA will also be providing free food and refreshments. The Hoʻokele Center offers a lot of open space to get comfortable, and take advantage of student fees, which is what pays for the refreshments.
Stay calm during finals week, and the Hoʻokele Center is open as a place to study.
